Today’s selection concludes Surah 29, Al-‘Ankabüt or the Spider, verses 45-69. These verses talk of Prayer as a way to keep away from shameful deeds. Furthermore, do no argue with the People of the Book except in good taste. As proof, we are asked to consider how many creatures do not carry their provisions with them. Allah provides for them as he provides for us. The life of this world is nothing but a past time; real life is the life of the hereafter. Lastly, those who strive in the cause of Allah, will be guided to the right way.
