These verses cover the story of Solomon or Solomon on whom God bestowed much wisdom as well as power over jinns, men, birds, ants and the wind. It tells the story of the hoopoe bird which brought him news of the Queen fo Sheba, the communications between Solomon and the Queen of Sheba and her eventual embrace of God.

Tafseer for this Surah contains an explanation of the parable of the Ants and an explanation of the Hoopoe bird.

Meanwhile, the unbelievers are asked to reflect on their wrong statements or else on the Day of Judgment, they will want to believe but it will be too late.

Lastly, the lawful guardians of the Ka’bah are those who fear God.

Next is a brief mention of respecting one another’s property rights and a warning to avoid heinous sins and jealousy. Men are declared as the protectors of women and rules of arbitration between family members are established. Lastly there is a discussion of the rights of people such as orphans and the needy, and how the other Messengers of God will be brought forth on the Day of Judgment.
